Guidance Department

Scheduling Meetings for Current 9th & 10th Graders

Counselors will be meeting with students to select courses for the 2022-2023 school year beginning on Tuesday, January 18th.  Students should check the appointment schedules posted in the glass hallway outside of the guidance office.  Meetings are in person and are intended for students only. Parents/Guardians wishing to discuss scheduling options with counselors may request an appointment at the end of the scheduling process (early March).  Please reach out to counselors for assistance. We appreciate your patience in permitting counselors extra time to respond to your email and phone call inquiries as this is an extremely busy time in the guidance office.

For your reference, information about junior conferences for scheduling and post-secondary planning was mailed home in December.  If you did not receive information about your 11th grader’s appointment, please contact Mrs. Norton (

The Power School scheduling portal is now closed.  Counselors will assist students with this process during scheduling appointments.  Please contact Mrs. Walker ( with any scheduling questions.

Practice ACT Exams

This is a great chance to get started on your testing plan, or if you have already started, it will provide additional practice. Taking practice tests under timed conditions is essential to being ready for the official test. A proctored practice exam will help your child build testing endurance and give a real-time snapshot of their testing performance.
